Child’s Play 2 Breakdown
Child’s Play 2 continues the endless struggles of Chucky (Brad Dourif) as he once again tries to transfer his soul into Andy Barclay (Alex Vincent). No one else from the original Child’s Play shows up which is pretty disappointing but not unusual for these types of sequels.
“Aaaaaaaaah! Yeeeeooooooow!”– Chucky getting just royally F-ed up for the entirety of the 3rd act
It doesn’t quite match the heights of the original but Child’s Play 2 is still an enjoyable piece of escapism. That is at least if your idea of escapism is watching a doll man subjected to extreme forms of mutilation. Luckily that is right in the sweet spot for me in terms of what I like to see in my movies.
